Brooklyn experimental-rock trio, Half Human, return with their third full length, “Shape Language”. Over the course of 10 crisp tracks the band exercises their knack for crackling off-kilter grooves and unpredictable melodies. The two singles “Seeing” and “Mineral Thinking” get right to the point with clear, inviting hooks, while in the context of the full album, the edges blur as the band’s wider interests in improvisation, tape-loops and sonic exploration fill the seams.
